PHP Strangeness...

It seems I’ve had to explicitly define a content type for Drupal since it has insisted on fucking up over the past few days whereby it was sending a Content-type of application/x-httpd-php

ALthough I fear this has something to do with notnet, rather than me…

Happy Tree Friends... Hilarious ;)

Firefox advocacy and System administration... DOOM Stylee

Okay, so do as the little advocacy block on the side of the page says... download it... I may even make it active so it will only display if you use anything but Firefox... just to be annoying :D

Then we've got "Old, but worth a mention":

System Administration, DOOM stylee... My favourite part is, and I quote:

Certain processes are vital to the computer's operation and should not be killed. For example, after I took the screenshot of myself being attacked by csh, csh was shot by friendly fire ...

Drupal fuckedness fixed

Okay, so for the past month or so, the RSS feed for my site has been fucked. Why?

Because when I migrated from my limited custom codebase to drupal, I had to hack a fix because Drupal’s cache system wasn’t deliverying headers properly.

I’ve fixed this and the fix is here.

Rx4RDF

Interesting look at content management and how it could be done if the storage format could be exposed.

del.icio.us

Thanks to [weblink:http://www.seldo.com] I’ve added and enabled the syndication aggregator and a feed for the [weblink:http://del.icio.us] linklogs system… even though I don’t keep one active I do however note links of interest occasionally…

At least now I can do it without having to piss about with text files. :D

Random hours

Waking up at random hours of the morning is prooving to be really bad for my bank account.

This mornign’s purchase is Doom3. Although I did look for the cheapest people to buy from… Additionally, I purchased train tickets to go back to Swansea on the 8th. Meh…

Ofcourse the Doom3 is the most significant purchase since it implies upgrades if it doesn’t play properly on my system… :(

Bah!

If someone's going to do it, the americans will...

Woke up this morning (with normalised sleeping patterns… YAY!) to be quite literally rolling over laughing after reading this lovely article on the new Diebold electronic touchscreen voting platform the US Government are going to use for the elections later this year… and the article quite clearly states that it is so simple to bypass the security on the system that a monkey can do it… So a monkey did it… and apparently there footage showing monkey deleting the audit log.
I find this to be fucking hilarious… I mean a voting platform based on Microsoft Access no less! I ...

Doom3. Oh. My. God.

Yes. Oh. My. God.

This is a truly beautiful game. The reviews and praise is well deserved. Where there original Doom is known all over the world to everyone, so shall this.

And no, before you bitches start complaining that I’m talking about the graphics no I’m not. I’m talking about gameplay too. Atmosphere, Sound Effects and the plethora of other subtleties that are involved in the expirience of a game.

Ok, so this game is a shoot-em-up, which means that you have to go kill things, and yes after a while, this kind of game can ...
