Okay, so here’s what’s been happening while in my period of non-bloggedness.

So you know about the new job in London with the ISP and you know about sigh [laurie]. As [laurie] says on his site: you’ve got his blog now, so what more do you need to know?

Oh, forgot to mention...

I’m just putting together Athena in Python. The object Hierachy and servlet like behaviour still works the same, however having written it in Python for mod_python and because of Python’s normal behaviour of byte compilation and caching the byte compiled results before execution, it’s blazingly fast.

One of the main reasons I never released Athena was mainly because of speed. The amount of code required to load, process and traverse the hierachy, resulted in about 400K of code being loaded into memory for every request more or less… Get about 100 users on the site at the ...

It's hard to believe...

… that this (Work Safe, but innuendo galore) [16meg] was a once a very very popular childrens programme.

rainbow... Heh!

I had seen the script ages ago and didn’t believe it, however this just proves it does… and I must say, I’m surprised they got away with it for sooooo long!
