My word… It’s taken me 8 months, but at last I have the answer!

Over the last 8 months (on and off) I’ve been looking into why Internet Explorer’s context menu’s were running extremely slow on my machine.

The answer is simple.

It was Microsoft trying to be clever. They made IE try to be clever… Fools. It appears that everytime you right click in an internet explorer window, it looks to the registry for the list of context menu items. Fair enough. I hate my job…

I hate being used… All i seem to be doing these days is catching up with moved goalposts and changed deadlines.
